Johnny Johnson & Reese Simpson Take "Team of the Year"
Team Johnny Johnson and Reese Simpson garnered 3 wins out of 6 tournaments this year to take home the most coveted award in The White Mountain Bass Club, "Team of the Year", squeezing out runners-up Doug Coplan and Walt Coplan by a little over 7 points.
Cangratulations Johnny and Reese!
Championship Bonus Tournament
For the two day bonus tournament held Sept. 29th at Willow Springs Lake, and Sept. 30th at Fool Hollow Lake, team Doug Coplan and Walt Coplan took home a 1st place win with a total of 14.4 lbs. and the Big Fish of the tournament, a 6.81 lbs. lunker. Way to go!
2nd Place went to David Campbell and Cham Gorman, 10.68 lbs.
3rd Place goes to who is probably the most improved team this year, Russel and Calvin Williams, whom have taken away two 1st place wins this year and a 3rd place finish in the bonus tournament, bringing in a total of 7.37 lbs. Keep it up fellers!

Championship Tournament August 13th 2006
Two Tough Days.
Day 1
Day one proved to be a little tough for all the teams, but Kenny Donaldson along with his Dad managed to catch a 6 lbs. sack of bass with the big fish a 5.29 pound largemouth. Doug and Mercedes Coplan ended up with 4.14 pounds and Johnny Johnson Jr. and Sr. rounded out 3rd with 3.51 pounds. Most fish were caught on Spinnerbaits.
Day 2
Day two was a little better on some of the teams as Doug and Mercedes Coplan managed a limit of bass weighing 7.55 pounds to Win the 2 day tournament. Johnny Johnson Jr. and Sr. took 2nd the second day at Fool Hollow with 3 bass at 4.86 pounds. This earned them 3rd place over all. Johnny Caught the second day big fish a 2.65 pounder. Kenny and Corky Donaldson managed to catch 4 fish but it wasnt enough to stay on top as the weight was only 3.84 pounds. Enough to take second place over all though. All in all a hard but mostly fun tournament for all.
1st Place: Doug Coplan and his daughter mercedes with a two day total of 11.69 lbs.
2nd Place: Kenny and Corky Donaldson with a two day total of 9.84 lbs. Kenny caught the Big Fish of the tournament at 5.29 lbs.
3rd went to Johnny Johnson Jr. and his dad John Sr. with a two day total of 8.37 lbs.
